California Sparkling Wine
It’s known by many names: Champagne, Bubbly, Sparkling Wine, Cava, Prosecco, Champers, Bubbles… California Sparkling Wine can’t be called Champagne—it’s not from the Champagne region of France—but it’s mostly made in the same Méthode Champenoise used in Champagne. Many fun sparklers are also Pét-Nats (short for pétillant naturel) which is the Méthode Ancestrale of sparkling wine.
California’s Central Coast “champagne” is also delicious…and it’s local!
