    Central Coast California Sparkling Wine

California Sparkling Wine can’t be called Champagne—it’s not from the Champagne region of France—but it’s mostly made in the same Méthode Champenoise.

Many fun sparklers are also Pét-Nats (short for pétillant naturel) which is the Méthode Ancestrale of sparkling wine.

We have over 150 Sparkling Wine Producers in the Paso Robles, San Luis Obispo, Santa Ynez Valley & Santa Barbara Wine Regions!

Just finished the Sparkling Wine Trail for Santa Maria Valley and Los Alamos! This Bubbly Trail covers Santa Maria Vally, including Foxen Canyon down to just outside Los Olivos, and Los Alamos. There are 8 spots for Sparkling Wine on this trail. Cheers. 🍾 The west side of Paso Robles, California is known for its unique topography and family-owned boutique wineries. It also gets more rain, ocean breezes and fog than the far east side. This Sparkling Trail also includes sparkling wines further west in Cambria, just a few miles from the Pacific, which is perfect for sparkling wines. The towns of Buellton, Solvang and Santa Ynez are charming in their own right: amazing restaurants, plenty of craft beer and wine tasting, lots of things to do for families and opportunities for outdoor adventures. And they have 16 sparkling producers in total! On the Paso North Sparkling Wine Trail, we have one of Paso's most prolific Bubbles producers, Vino Vargas! They make a Brut Blanc de Blanc, Brut Blanc de Noir, and Brut Rose Sparkling. Did you know...there are 17 places to get Sparkling Wine on the east side of Paso Robles?! And most of these Bubbles are made in the méthode champenoise, with a couple of fun sparklers thrown in. So check out this list, and get you some local Paso champagne! Bringing you the Bubbles on California's Central Coast was so fun! We will keep on bringing it in 2023.
